I’ve got new episodes coming up, beginning this week. Things have been slightly delayed – I went to see Benjamin Button a couple of weeks ago and it JUST ended this morning.
Just kidding, but seriously… what a suckfest of a movie… and it is WAY too long. People seem to be gushing over the look of the movie (it does look great) and they seem surprised that Brad Pitt can act – it’s as if no one ever saw Fight Club (GREAT movie, same director and Brad Pitt is amazing in it).
Back to Benjamin Button… If you liked that 3 hour pile of overly-sappy garbage, I’d love to hear why. I’d also like to hear how it ends ‘cos I walked out. I had hoped for alot better from some of my favorite writers, actors and directors (Fitzgerald/Pitt/Fincher).
Where was I? Oh, right… New Peanuts webisodes… Episode 4.1 should be coming up sometime today. Stay tuned.

New Peanuts Website – Check out SouthGeorgiaPeanuts.net… It is a new website that I’m putting together to showcase Playing for Peanuts (and you thought I was slacking off). I won’t go into the nuts and bolts of what I’m doing over there, but I’m hoping the new site will help launch some new projects while helping DVD and merchandise sales. More details when I come up for air.
Peanuts Featured on Athletics Nation – Jennifer from Athletics Nation was among the early buyers of the Playing for Peanuts DVD and she seems to like it. Awesome. (Thanks Jennifer!)
This is just a test of something I’m working on behind the scenes. It’s also a good excuse to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. So there you go.
Good news from the DVD shipping department (Note: I AM the DVD shipping department):
Playing for Peanuts DVDs arrived this week and I have begun shipping them to all pre-orders. Most of the orders will be arriving on Friday 12/12 or Saturday 12/13. A few other orders may not arrive until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
Needless to say, I’m really happy to finally have this step out of the way. Now that the DVDs have been created and they finally physically exist, I can focus on distributing them – but that is another story entirely. I will have more details on my distribution strategy very soon.
