May 20, 2007 – Peanuts vs. Redfish
Game footage from May 20, 2007. The South Coast League’s South Georgia Peanuts played the Charlotte County Redfish in the third game of the season. In this clip, Peanuts manager Wally Backman – managing his first official game since 2004 – talks with pitcher Damian Dantibo about laying down a drag bunt. Later, he discusses strategy with catcher Tug Gillingham.

The Peanuts in Anderson, SC
The Peanuts take a bus to and from the field in Anderson, SC. Anderson’s field didn’t have a clubhouse so visiting teams had to leave the hotel dressed for batting practice and return to the hotel to shower and change.
